Tummy Tuck

When moving the lymphatic fluid away from the tummy tuck area with (MLD)lymphatic drainage

massage, both swelling and bruising are reduced through each session.

Breast Augmentation/Top Surgery

MLD after breast augmentation can help improve the results of the surgery and dramatically increase the patient’s level of comfort.

Liposuction

Patients appreciate the pain reduction often experienced from receiving MLD, they can see their procedure results much sooner with the swelling reduction.

Explant Surgery

Explant surgery, also known as breast implant removal surgery, is a procedure that removes breast implants and the surrounding scar tissue, or capsule.

How soon should I get a lymphatic massage after my surgery?

We have found that after 3 days of your surgical event the positive effects of the drainage can be felt and seen.

What if I still have drains in place?

That is no problem, we have worked with drains, ports, and other medical devices post surgerical/cancer.

What is the difference between a MLD therapist and a CLT therapist?

It all comes down to the amount of education and empirical knowledge that the therapist earns. A certified lymphatic therapist (CLT) has learned about all aspects of the lymphatic system anatomy and physiology and hands on training in all stages of complete decongestive therapy which prepares the therapist to safely and effectively treat and manage lymphatic disorders. Complete decongestive therapy includes aspects of manual lymphatic drainage techniques and soft tissue mobilization skills, exercise, bandaging, skin care, patient evaluation/assessment, vasopnuematic pumps, compression garments and patient self management.

Do you participate with insurance?

No, but we can provide paid receipts for reimbursement.
